About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, customer portal and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Provide detailed information about our metal manufacturing services, capabilities, and products.
Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Production, Shipping) to ensure customer requirements are met.
Handle and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our CRM system.
Assist with order tracking and provide customers with updates on order status.
Support the sales team with customer account management and follow-ups.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer service processes and practices.
Requirements / Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the manufacturing or metals industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
