About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary VP, Communications and Content to spearhead the strategy for a dynamic and fast-paced TikTok account. The successful candidate will be tasked with elevating the communication and content strategy, challenging both internal and client teams to go beyond traditional media plans and deliver innovative solutions that resonate with consumers and attract new users. This role demands a creative leader with a diverse skill set, including experience in communications planning and content strategy, a deep understanding of media, culture, and platforms, and a relentless curiosity about their evolution and intersection. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, passionate about advancing business on TikTok, and dedicated to creating groundbreaking, media-led work that drives growth for clients.Day-to-day responsibilities for the VP, Communications and Content include maintaining a thorough knowledge of media, culture, and platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to generate creative concepts rooted in media and platform partnerships, and pitching these ideas to both internal and external stakeholders. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years' of experience in a strategic/creative role, and a proven track record of managing people. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.The role also involves overseeing the execution of strategies, building client relationships, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in content.
