Summary Balfour Beatty seeks a HR Data and Analytics Analyst to design, implement, and manage HR data analytics and reporting programs. This individual will provide reports, data, and analysis using a variety of reporting tools to improve efficiency, support decisions, enable leadership effectiveness, and enhance stakeholder experience. The selected candidate will also assist with defining strategic vision and system advancement opportunities.
Essential Functions Develop and manage the execution of the HR data analytics strategy to align with HR and organizational objectives.
Create and maintain HR reports and dashboards utilizing appropriate system tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) to effectively present HR metrics.
Conduct in-depth analysis of HR data to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for HR and organizational leaders.
Provide reports and various data sets to support HR programs including but not limited to AAP, Vets, benefits, retirement,
Design and create ad hoc reports as needed to respond to data
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of all dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop solutions.
Effectively communicate conceptual design of dashboards to technical team. Actively participate in testing of solutions.
Provide support, consultation, and research to stakeholders.
Write all documentation for work processes maintaining necessary updates.
Actively participate in group status meetings and/or conference calls and respond to identified issues.
Actively participate in task team meetings to fully understand end-user needs.
Actively participate in vendor conferences, webcasts, and user group communities.

Working Conditions Majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Minimal travel is required. This is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days from home).
Education, Experience, and Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing and managing HR data analytics and reporting programs
Solid understanding of HR processes, metrics, and best practices
Proven experience in HR data analytics and reporting with a track record of developing and implementing successful HR data analytics and reporting programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data sets
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (required) and Access (highly desirable)
Proficiency in report writing software; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is highly desirable
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding stakeholder requirements and expectations
Ability to travel intermittently, up to 10% of schedule
