Intertrend Communications is a leading multicultural advertising and marketing communications agency that targets the Asian American community. We help brands make meaningful connections, build relationships and win over new fans.
We are currently looking for an Account Director in our Plano, TX. office.
The Account Director is a key member of the integrated agency team at Intertrend and participates, motivates and helps lead teams in the development of strategic ideas, integrated plans, production and execution. They foster and grow strong internal relationships and agency culture, as well as build the trust and confidence of clients.
Responsibilities:
Help lead integrated campaign plans and creative from initial development through to production/execution in broadcast, digital, social, mobile, print, OOH, collateral, event marketing.
Effectively propose and manage scopes, budgets, costs and fees.
Drive strategy and creative development within the agency and be the champion for the brand.
Work closely to monitor and manage the creative production process, meet key dates and ensure smooth internal and client communications.
Develop strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients, agency partners and internal teams.
Establish and strengthen excellent client relationships and earn continued trust.
Nurture and mentor the account group, and advocate for their growth. Celebrating their achievements and successes both internally and with clients.
Actively seek opportunities for incremental business/financial growth with clients
Engaged and aware of the broader industry and market trends in order to share knowledge with internal teams and apply to client brands.
Effectively problem-solve for the team to overcome challenges and also provide long-term solutions to help the team succeed.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Minimum 10+ years experience in advertising or marketing, with advertising agency experience
Ability to work with the team to drive strategy and creative development. Help package and confidently present and champion ideas
Solid experience in building client relationships and rapport
Proven success in managing budgets, scopes, tight timelines and production
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to mentor and develop the account team members to achieve the next-level goals
Organized, great attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience or interest in multicultural marketing
