Cooper University Health Care, South Jersey's top-rated hospital and leading academic health system, and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are actively committed to diversity at all levels of the organization and are seeking are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking, academic geriatrician to serve as Head of the Division of Geriatric Medicine.
Short Description
Cooper and CMSRU have a strong reputation for teaching, research, and state-of-the-art patient care, and are seeking to build a robust program in Geriatric Medicine. This includes the possibility of starting a new fellowship training program. We seek an individual with a national academic reputation in the field, with expertise in clinical care, research, and teaching. We also seek a leader who will grow the Division and establish new opportunities and innovations in clinical programming. The successful candidate will receive competitive compensation and recommendation for an academic rank at CMSRU commensurate with the individual's training and experience. Candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. degree, be board certified in Geriatric Medicine (ABIM or ABFM) and have experience in an academic setting. The position is full time.
