This position will be dedicated to the HNTB Williamson County Road Bond GEC Program in our Round Rock office. This job primarily consists of managing teams of professional service providers to deliver transportation infrastructure projects ranging in size and complexity in support of the Bond Program.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence to the schedule and budget on projects.
Assists in marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team’s work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives.
Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline.
Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or
PhD in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
Primary Focus Will Include:
Coordinating with program consultants to develop scopes and fees for planning, environmental, and engineering design projects.
Oversight of the preparation and completion of transportation engineering designs and supporting technical documents.
Collaboration with client, other disciplines, property owners, and stakeholders in the successful delivery of projects.
Coordination with legal and real estate professionals, overseeing ROW acquisition and associated activities such as review of ROW purchase contracts, development of condemnation hearing exhibits.
Utility relocation coordination with the County’s utility coordination firm.
Develop interlocal and other agreements related to ROW acquisition and utility relocations.
Providing consistent, accurate and timely reporting on current project status.
Oversight of the procurement and award of construction contracts.
Coordinating with program leadership to define work programs and budgets, provide leadership in project planning and strategy including general oversight and planning, project management, project implementation, and ensuring quality of work products.
Managing scope, schedule and budget for multiple concurrent projects.
Developing and maintaining client relationships.

Experience interfacing directly with project stakeholders
