As a GIS Analyst Sr., you will use GIS applications to handle asset and reference data, build maps and generate analysis to support user requests. You will be responsible for and lead initiatives and projects as you optimize processes. The ability to build and cultivate relationships with others, identify and communicate technology gaps and assess data to resolve sophisticated problems are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

Builds, updates and deletes features and attributes in the enterprise geodatabase

Performs tasks using Williams standard set of GIS applications

Raises awareness of and identifies efficient GIS technology and data solutions through interactions with company partners

Leads large GIS projects

Develops and implements processes to improve efficiency

Mentors and trains others

Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

Required: High School Diploma/GED; completion of some college or Associate’s degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of eight (8) years’ GIS experience

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Cartography, MIS or Computer Science and a minimum of ten (10) years’ GIS experience

Other Requirements:

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Demonstrates ability to learn new software skills

Knowledge of geospatial data management including geometry and attribute editing in a relational database

Experience with ArcGIS applications and tools

Experience with Esri software

Preferred: Project Management experience

Preferred: Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements for pipelines and facilities

Preferred: FME or Python experience
