DevOps Engineer – IT MiddlewareThe selected candidate will leverage their skills to provide expertise in infrastructure provisioning and configuration and software deployment across the software development lifecycle. The candidate must have experience with Linux operating systems, network administration, and networking protocols/functions (e.g., HTTPS, TLS/X.509, SMTPS, DNS, LDAPS).Skills and Experience:Linux administration: operating system concepts, traditional UNIX facilities and shell tools, RHEL experienceFundamental background with software design patterns and programming languagesExperience with automated provisioning and configuration tools like Ansible or similar technologies.Experience with Drupal maintenance for internal/external sites.Experience with JVM concepts, Java server maintenance via Ansible (Mule, Tomcat)Experience with Apache maintenance (virtualhost configuration, familiarity with modules and directives)Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as JenkinsSoftware development experience (i.e., Perl, Bash, C, C#, Java)HTML5, CSS experienceBash/shell script experienceAPI integration experienceGit experienceXML experienceRDBMS experience (i.e., PostgreSQL, MariaDB)IT Security ConceptsIP NetworkingRHEL patching & RPM packagingNessus scan vulnerability remediationExcellent problem solving and analysis skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsSelf-starter that can work independently while possessing the communication skills to work effectively with software development teams and customersRequired Skills and Education:5+ years’ experience as a DevOps EngineerBachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field.Excellent oral and written communication skills.
