Department Overview
After Sales Business Development is a highly valuable aspect of Customer Services. As After Sales becomes a more and more important piece of the automotive business overall and as the number of Mercedes-Benz vehicles on the road increases, so does the opportunity for parts and accessory sales.
ASBD is comprised of Product Management Parts, Product Management Service, Business Intelligence, After Sales Marketing and Accessories. ASBD also supports the execution of MBUSA's Customer Satisfaction initiatives.
Job Overview
In this role, the JACP will work with the Parts Pricing team to price new parts, examine supersession chains and assist with various parts pricing analytics and ad hoc requests. The JAC will be involved in numerous projects associated with parts market conditions, remanufactured parts market and pricing as well as in the development of systematic system checks and audits.
Responsibilities
Assist with parts pricing analytics and tasks
Analyze newly extended parts and supersession chains
Analyze and requesting new part and core extensions
Various ad hoc analysis
Qualifications Qualifications / Education:
Required Qualifications:
Level of education: Rising Junior/Senior in a Bachelor's program or First Year Graduate Student in a Master's Program
Available from May 2024 - April 2025
Hybrid in-person schedule 3 days weekly, up to 28 hours maximum
Available during core working hours of 10 AM - 3 PM Eastern
Preferred Skillset:
Personal skills: Open-minded, eager to learn, flexible
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
