About the Role
The Company is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead its financial accounting operations with a focus on driving efficiencies, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic support. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership of accounting, revenue operations, treasury, tax, and internal control activities. This includes the development and support of best-in-class financial systems and processes, driving timely and accurate financial close processes, and staying abreast of technical accounting topics to ensure consistent implementation of corporate accounting principles. The role also involves managing the annual audit, ensuring compliance with all applicable taxes, and collaborating with executive leadership to execute financial strategies.Applicants for the Corporate Controller position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification preferred. A minimum of 12 years' experience in financial leadership roles, with a focus on accounting, is required, and prior Big 4 or public accounting experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience with financial software and tools (advanced proficiency in NetSuite is a plus), and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. SaaS and/or Payments experience is highly valued. The first 60 days in this role will involve assessing the existing accounting team, gaining an understanding of the company's accounting processes, and developing working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
