Sr. Director, Analytics Practice Lead_

Acxiom is searching for a Sr. Director, Analytics Practice Lead to run both analytics strategy and delivery.

*This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

+ Lead a team of AI and ML engineers and ML ops SME’s

+ Lead a team of data science and data analytics

+ Create best in class accelerators and solutions on partner platforms like GCP, AWS, Databricks and Snowflake

+ Sell through and build automation of analytics products and services

+ Establish, build and scale analytics infrastructure

+ Build out data transformation and MDM capabilities

+ Evaluating new online and offline data opportunities in the form of new sources, new technology, client priorities, partnership, etc.

+ Fostering creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).

+ Building and executing a client specific data strategy including performing gap assessments, creating optimal state data plans, and building execution roadmaps

+ Identifying strategic data-driven services that will allow clients to grow their business

+ Assisting clients in defining analytics needs and developing solutions to solve those challenges

+ Acting as a key partner for the client and internal teams by implementing conceptual data frameworks and developing effective marketing strategies

+ Expanding client work, including building recommended approaches and scope

+ Evaluating new online and offline data opportunities in the form of new sources, new technology, client priorities, partnership, etc.

+ Fostering creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).

+ Managing efficient execution of projects, including the implementation of best practices

What You Will Have:

+ 15+ years of experience in engineering

+ 15+ years of experience in analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company

+ Ability to lead a team of data science, data analysts and data engineers

+ Deep understanding of Adobe and SalesForce analytics offerings

+ Deep understanding of DataBricks and Snowflake

+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

+ Strong client relationship and communication skills, with experience managing multiple projects across teams

+ Experience managing a team

+ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

+ Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning, etc.)

+ Knowledge of digital data technologies (DMPs, Google Analytics, digital pixel tracking, site tagging, etc.)

+ Demonstrates ability to innovate and enhance processes through the utilization of new technologies and knowledge.

+ Ability to apply marketing and commercial intelligence concepts for business success.

+ Flexible with the ability to keep up with a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. Problem solvers, comfortable developing and working to different solution types and scopes.

+ Detail-oriented with the ability to coordinate and lead projects across multiple teams and functions
