As a DC Quality Control Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure that all incoming products to our warehouses conform to the Loloi Quality standards. This position will involve supporting the Senior Director of Quality and the Compliance team, leading the domestic inbound inspection teams and being responsible for all incoming inspections that are reviewed. The role will involve daily interaction with team members at multiple locations and with other departments in processing inspections and reviewing daily issues that may arise from Quality, Compliance, Sales, Customer service, and Product Development.
Responsibilities
Maintaining workload of inbound containers that are received daily, and ensuring they are inspected by the team in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for Hiring and reviewing individual team member performance and working with the Director(s) of Distribution locations on the necessary levels of employment.
Responsible for following all safety protocols and ensuring all team members are compliant with company policies.
Direct a lean efficient environment where there are continual improvements in the overall process and meeting department KPI’s.
Timely resolutions and response to all directed inquiries to the Quality Department.
Periodically review daily inspections with Quality Team Leads to confirm proper data is being submitted.
Represent Quality in all distribution center meetings on local or domestic level.
Travel periodically to the different domestic sites to ensure consistent practices and policies are being administered.
Develop SOPs as needed and train employees on SOPs.
Work on special projects assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer and the Senior Director of Quality.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work with other stakeholders within the distribution centers to accomplish the tasks.
All other duties as determined by Management to support the Loloi business.
Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements
Minimum 2+ year of relevant experience involved in managing team members in a distribution or manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality role.
Organizational skills to effectively manage files, communicate with different areas of the company in a timely and professional manner.
Attention to detail as expectations involve proper inspection information for all Vendors.
Must be computer literate in Microsoft office applications along with established knowledge of general WMS systems.
Confidentiality to be maintained as data information and compliance projects dictate.
Multi-Tasking is necessary for the position as there will be regular daily project work which varies with time and as priorities change.
Takes initiative and works well independently with limited supervision.
