This position can be remote or hybrid-based near one of our offices and is based around East Coast working hours. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.
We are searching for a Lead Software Developer/Product Manager to add bandwidth to our Data Manager team in both the technical and leadership area. This role will act as the lead on selected projects, act as a mentor for the team, and perform releases when necessary.
Your impact:
Act as the lead on selected projects. This will involve gathering requirements, designing solutions, assigning tickets, monitoring/managing progress, and coaching team members as needed.
Work closely with other developers and Stakeholders to construct new software, tools, and custom solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
Develop high quality code that adheres to best practices in design, proper testing, and good documentation.
Fulfill stakeholders' needs and ensure they are satisfied with the end result.
Other related duties as assigned.
About you:
7+ years of experience developing in an object-oriented language.
Proficient with Java 8+, Rest APIs, and JavaScript/React
2+ years of team leadership/coaching experience
2+ years of experience leading software projects
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL
Strong understanding of the full SDLC
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to break down complex projects into manageable, assignable pieces
Excellent communication skills
