Responsibilities:
The Loan Servicing Documentation Analyst is responsible for reviewing all new, renewed, and modified loans in a timely manner to ascertain evidence of the borrowers indebtedness, enforceability, perfection of required security interest, compliant with the loan approval, compliant with regulatory requirements and covenants and conditions are properly documented. Assist with administrative loan servicing functions around UCC filings, loan payments, ensuring all documentation is properly scanned or handling internal or external customer requests as well as other related tasks. Prepares weekly and monthly reports professionally, accurately, and timely.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Review each document in the loan file to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, completeness, accuracy and proper execution of all required loan and collateral documents, as well as proper approvals.
Identify loan document exceptions and enter tracking information for missing, incorrect, or pending for recording in the public records or with the Secretary of State for jurisdiction of the collateral tied to each loan. Submit monthly Exceptions Report to all business lines, identifying all exceptions noted and past due exceptions. Upon completion of each loan file review, all exceptions noted must be entered into FCM for tracking purposes. Exceptions should be setup within 30 days of closing and on same day of review
If there are any approved waivers, verify waiver and that it is property uploaded into FCM/IC.
Identify and report incorrect or missing documentation.
Distribute monthly exceptions report
Verify documents provided to clear any exception is adequate and correct for the specific exception.
Assist with Department duties such as releases of collateral on paid off loans, processing loan payments, scanning loan documents into our imaging system and mail processing.
Handle customer inquiries, researches and responds as needed pertaining to exceptions, clears loan exceptions received by department
Research recent UCC (uniform commercial code) filings of continuations, terminations and historical to determine if accurately being tracked on vendors tracking system.
Assist when needed with the issuance of payoff letters and releases of collateral.
Perform other job duties and projects as assigned by the Loan Servicing Manager interrelated with loan servicing.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of loan collateral documentation, loan servicing, to include loan boarding and booking, loan portfolio administration or paralegal real estate or commercial title experience required
Familiar with MS Office; preferably proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
Preferred:
Bachelors degree, Paralegal Studies Certificate
