Job Summary and Qualifications Works in collaboration with Pediatric Nursing Management to provide for the developmental needs of hospitalized children age 0-21 to include advocating for psychosocial, emotional, physical and cognitive needs. Decreases the anxiety and/or trauma with illness and hospitalization through interventions, which promote play, learning, mastery, self-expression, and peer interaction.

What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support

Child Life internship program of 400-650 hours under a Certified Child Life Specialist

Bachelors Degree in Child Life/ Child Development/ Human Development

Experience in working with children and adolescents.

Child Life Specialist Certification (CCLS)

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
