Noah Homes is seeking a highly motivated and committed administrative professional to join our Development Fundraising team. The position is onsite, Full Time Monday - Friday with occasional weekend or evening events.
Full -Time Salary Exempt position including bonus structure.
The Development Manager reports to the Executive Director and works in cooperation with the marketing and grants team. The focus is on the management of the Development team related to fundraising and donor cultivation from diverse sources, such as individual donors, corporations, foundations, and government grants. The Development Manager is a community liaison who will represent the needs of Noah Homes. This role requires excellent communication organizational skills, and a passion for our mission and non-profit work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy: Implement comprehensive fundraising plans to meet annual revenue goals. Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and maintain existing donor relationships.
Donor Engagement : Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other stakeholders. Manage donor recognition and appreciation activities.
Grant Management: Identify new grant opportunities to secure funding from foundations and government agencies. Manage the grant cycle, including tracking application deadlines and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
Event Planning: Oversee project management of fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and community fundraisers, ensuring the team completes tasks and achieves goals.
Communications and Marketing : Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media content, and annual reports.
Data Management: Ensure accuracy of donor records and fundraising databases. Analyze fundraising data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with the Executive Director, board members, and volunteers to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience (5+ years) in development/fundraising roles, preferably in the field of intellectual and developmental disability support.
Experience in the execution of capital campaigns, securing major gifts, and cultivating relationships with high-level donors preferred.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with both corporate and non-profit sponsors and clients preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
Financial Acumen with a basic understanding of financial principles related to budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management in a non-profit context.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
Knowledge of fundraising software and donor management systems, preferably Salsa and Donor Perfect.
Familiarity with relevant fundraising regulations, ethics, and best practices.
Passion for the mission and values of the non-profit sector, preferably in the field of development disability advocacy.
