The Manager, On-Premise Account Lead - North Florida serves as the face of MH for the account, owns account relationships, and responsible for developing the relationship and delivering sales & visibility goals in North Florida. In addition, the Account Lead will successfully develop and handle Key Performance Indicator execution.
Account Management:
Lead and support distributor sales teams to achieve brand priorities.
Lead all aspects of and monitor sales & depletion goals within assigned market to ensure targets are met
Sells in MH brands/products, selecting relevant activations/programs/tactics for each account
Finds opportunities for custom programs, deeper brand education, and upsell, bringing in appropriate MH resources
Develop key account listings (Key Performance Indicators for distribution and menu listings, account support plan, track velocity / sales and update regularly)
Acts as consultant to on portfolio opportunities and growth via advice, education, programming, creative ideas, and analysis to accounts
Leads trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts
Maintains on-call communication to ensure expectations met in customer relationship
Works hand in hand with distributor sales reps for pricing and fulfillment support
Ensures account needs for programs and activations are met and implemented within MH brand guidelines
Builds a key account plan through longer term account partnerships & ongoing programming
Informs the channel lead or market lead of opportunities, risks, and competitive intel
Participation in Market/Maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education
Successfully handle assigned budgets: T&E and A&P.
Relationship Management:
Collaborates with Channel Lead to translate channel strategy to accounts in-market
Partners with Field Trade Marketing & Experiential Development to implement programs/experiences in accounts
Partners with Distributor to handle order execution
Profile
Education:
Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required.
Professional Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits
Practical/Technical Knowledge:
Builds positive relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
Strong sales background
Self-starter and driven demeanor
Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography
Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to effective sales pitches & strategy-setting
Well-developed experience analyzing return on investment and budget management
Highly effective influencing and partnering skills, strong knowledge of sales techniques
Refined communication & presentation skills
Excellent analytical ability; optimally interprets & applies syndicated data insights
Able to work with all levels of the organization
Flexible approach/ability to handle change in direction
Overall velocity, distribution growth
Number of 1:1 account engagement (visits + entertainment)
Execution of agreed-to account program calendar / consumer experiences
Customer satisfaction
Increasing return on investment of the assigned budget
