Guest Service Reservation Specialist

We are looking for talented candidates who are organized customer service pros and take enormous pride in a job well done. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, making reservations both over the phone and in person. You will also be checking out guests using a POS system and handling cash daily. You will be the first impression or our great resort.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure store merchandise inventory is kept attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked. Communicate inventory shortages to General Manager.
Operate cash register, place merchandise orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries
Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
Clean and maintain both the inside and outside areas of the store.
Inspect store facilities and equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness and proper working order.
Greet customers and perform general administrative functions such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, and filing.
Guest relations to include greeting and registering guests, completing reservations and handling mailings
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or GED
Familiarity with software/computers, Microsoft Office, email, scanners, etc
Strong communicator with solid customer service skills
Trustworthy and reliable
Capable of following instructions without variation.
Willingness to work weekends.
Must be within commuting distance to the Resort and have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience
