The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is seeking a dynamic, efficient, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Technology Integration Coordinator. The Technology Integration Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing the applications, databases and IT systems, needs, capabilities, and solutions for the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. This position acts as application administrator and configures, supports, and tests various solutions, develops and supports digital storage solutions, and other related software in collaboration with the museum's leadership and throughout museum sections. Works to integrate solutions as necessary with the Science Data Administrator as needed.
This role provides back-end support for museum technical applications, exhibition development and maintenance, data storage and sharing, support of stakeholders and end users, creates solutions for technical problems, supports museum technical projects, provides website support, manages the AWS environment, and services analytical needs. Additionally, this role is responsible for analyzing and advising on IT solutions, modernization, cybersecurity, and sharing of data with internal and external partners. This position also manages the museum's SharePoint sites and provides training to staff on a variety of IT needs to include the use of AI and other state-approved tools. These functions serve to assist the museum in meeting its mission through enhancing the functionality of staff and working to consolidate museum technical operations.
This position has no direct reports but will oversee the work of related staff, volunteers, and interns across several work units.

Recruitment Range: $65,607 - $73,880
