What This Role Is
HR Compliance Manager will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and updating Human Resources (HR) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
* Partners with leadership and internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and legal requirements.* Advises on the development and updating or HR policies and procedures to align with current laws and industry standards.* Conducts research on federal and state employment laws, regulations, and legislative changes impacting HR practices.* Collaborates with legal counsel to ensure all HR policies and procedures are legally sound and meet company needs.* Develops and implements a regular review and update cycle for HR policies and procedures.* Maintains a comprehensive library of HR policies and procedures readily accessible to employees and managers.* Serves as the central point of contact for HR policy-related questions from employees and managers, providing clear and concise guidance.* Initiates and manage compliance-focused projects to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to legal regulations.* Monitors and research emerging HR trends, legal developments and best practices to ensure the organization is competitive and compliant.* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills and Experiences You'll Bring to the Job
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources management, Business Administration, or a related field* Minimum five years of experience in HR compliance or a related field.* JD preferred.* Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).* Proven ability to research, analyze, and interpret complex legal and regulatory information.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear and understandable language for diverse audiences.* Experience developing and revising HR policies and procedures.* Strong project management and organizational skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Salary Range
The wage range for this position $140,000/Yr. - $150,000/Yr. base salary is determined on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
