The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax and accounting related workflow and staff. You will help our firm stay tax-compliant and up-to-date on new tax laws and train staff.

Responsibilities
Prepare complex tax returns and review all levels of tax returns including assigning less complex returns to staff for review. This includes individual and all entity types of returns.
Reviewing accounting projects including GAAP and tax basis financial statements
Perform tax and accounting research
Identify opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate
Oversee non-income tax compliance
Prepare for and lead tax audits
Qualifications
Must be a CPA with at least 5 years' experience
Must have experience preparing compiled financial statements (reviewed/audited FS a plus)
Master's in taxation or accountancy a plus
Strong skills in working with tax and accounting software and Microsoft products. QuickBooks experience and Lacerte a plus.
Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills to manage multiple clients, tax and accounting partners and staff.
