As a Senior Product Manager for the Prime Video Android team you will help execute the roadmap and customer experience across many geographies. You will participate in developing the mobile strategy, and 3-year vision, and execute product roadmaps on that vision — with a focus on Android devices, Android operating system, and the broader Android ecosystem. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our customer experience. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and has the ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will also have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end product ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You will have experience of working with software engineers to deliver customer facing technology products.

Key job responsibilities

In This Role You Will

Develop a deep understanding of the Prime Video mobile customer, both existing and potential.

Own the development of detailed product requirements documents.

Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap.

Drive projects, products, and feature launches with teams both inside and outside of the team including: business development, content acquisition, legal, marketing, finance, customer service, and operations.

About The Team

The Prime Video Seattle Android team owns device groups and features that drive Prime Video mobile streams globally. Our team looks after technical product management functions for mobiles apps. We are co-located in Seattle, Los Angeles, and London and work closely with a large engineering team.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Seattle, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience managing technical products or online services

Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
