About the Role
The Company is in search of a seasoned and strategic Senior Director of Internal Communications to lead and manage the internal communications function. This role is pivotal in shaping the organization's internal messaging, ensuring consistent and creative communications that align with the company's values, goals, and culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a forward-thinking internal communication strategy, leading all corporate internal communications, and building a team of communicators and events & operations specialists. They will also be expected to expand internal communication tools and systems, be a trusted advisor to the business, and collaborate with the leadership team on various initiatives, including change management and crisis communications.To catch the eye of the company, candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have experience working for organizations that are scaling and undergoing change, and be adept at working remotely and communicating with distributed teams. The role requires a proven track record of collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners and executives, as well as experience in building and leading a team. The ideal candidate will be an equal parts thinker and doer, with strong project management skills, a growth mindset, and a calm demeanor under pressure. Attention to detail and the ability to evolve communication strategies based on data-driven insights are also essential.
