Job Description This is a unique opportunity. You won't be building on top of existing solutions. You'll be pioneering new ones and scaling from the ground up. As a Machine Learning Engineer at IR Labs, you will be instrumental in developing and deploying state-of-the-art machine learning models that solve real-world problems for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and scale early-stage technology solutions that demonstrate the value of our analytics and AI offerings. You’ll develop algorithms, write scripts, build predictive analytics, apply ML and deep learning, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn data into the early-stage innovation. Responsibilities
Model Innovations: Design, develop, and train models to address unmet customer needs, leveraging the proper technology needed to fit the application.
Algorithm Optimization: Implement and optimize algorithms for performance and scalability in early-stage production environments.
Experimentation & Iteration: Conduct experiments to test and validate model performance, continuously improving accuracy and efficiency.
Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to understand their challenges and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
MLOps: Design environments that support MLOps pipelines by creating architecture diagrams, process flows, selecting appropriate tooling, and deploying the solution
Documentation & Reporting: Document processes, models, and outcomes, and communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience with data science, machine learning engineering, data analytics, or data research
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Data Handling: Strong skills in SQL and experience with data processing tools like Pandas, NumPy, or Spark.
Algorithm Knowledge: Deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning, as well as deep learning and large language models.
MLOps: Experience with MLOps products, such as, MLFlow, Databricks, Domino, or SageMaker
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of designing effective solutions to complex problems.
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Innovation: A passion for staying current with the latest advancements in machine learning and a drive to continuously innovate and improve.
Deployment: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience deploying models in production.
Big Data: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, or distributed computing.
Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

The base compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 plus yearly variable compensation, based on KPIs and performance. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
