About the Role
The Company, a leading educational organization dedicated to fostering excellence and innovation in the education sector, is seeking a Senior Advisor to join their dynamic and diverse team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing planning and organizational leadership for the operations, activities, educational services, and support functions. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in systems change work and experience in leading school and district transformations. The Senior Advisor will be the main strategist for the organization, responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of activities in key focus areas. They will also serve as part of the executive team, setting clear direction, and acting as a representative in relevant contexts.Applicants must have a Master's degree in education, public policy, or a related area, or equivalent years of experience in the field of education. A minimum of five years is required in developing, leading, and coaching improvement efforts in educational settings, with at least three years at the administrative or executive team level. Experience at the cabinet-level in a local or state educational agency is preferred. The role involves working closely with the Deputy Executive Director and the Governing Board, and the ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships is essential. The Senior Advisor will play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to transform public education and ensure a quality, equitable education for every student.
