Summary:
The IT Infrastructure and Operation Manager is a hands-on leader of global cloud and on-premises infrastructure, desktop management, and help desk functions. This position has oversight of global teams responsible for the support of end users and customers. The selected candidate will manage a team of cloud and system administrators and help desk analysts in a fast-paced environment. The IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager position must have strong Azure, virtualization, Windows, Exchange, AD, and general infrastructure skills as well as keen customer support, communication, and project management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do:
coordinates, and directs all daily operational activities and provides direction and solutions that enhance mission-critical operations of the IT infrastructure department.
delivery of end-user services, including help desk, on-premises Infrastructure and Cloud services, focused on reliable and predictable performance with attention to customer service to both internal IT teams and business users globally.
with other functions across IT and the enterprise to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery of critical systems and infrastructure.
infrastructure/Operations support team’s services deliver expected value to external and internal customers.
with the cybersecurity team to investigate, analyze, and respond to incidents.
with the application team on production deployment and change control activities.
closely with vendors and 3rd party services to drive value out of current investments and understand roadmaps and how they could apply to Company
and continually improve team capabilities and evaluate how best to develop required skills (internal development, external hires or strategic partners) for effectively and efficiently managing Company’s internal Infrastructure.
Strategy & Planning
an annual plan of required service changes (upgrades, refreshes, patches) and follow defined processes to prioritize, define, schedule, and support delivery of work.
IT policies and procedures that enable strong risk-management capabilities.
related projects, including allocation of resources, assignment/delegation of tasks, tracking of milestones/completion, and project budgeting.
solves resource or technical challenges to ensure enhancement timelines and budgets are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.
years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Infrastructure technologies as well as O365 and Exchange Administration.
with routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware.
securing servers and other assets as well as remediating gaps identified in risk assessments.
managing or leading globally dispersed teams and supporting a global and multi-cultural organization.
to think strategically and at the same time execute operationally with hands-on leadership style utilizing measurable KPIs.
proficient knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT and utilization of these frameworks when appropriate as aligned to capabilities of current organizational maturity.
communication and interpersonal skills within an international and multi-cultural environment.
Project management experience and best practices providing oversight for multiple, concurrent IT projects.
