Schedule:Sun, Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, 10P-6A
Rate: $1,240/40-hours
Requirements:
Valid and active Nursing Assistant Certificate (CNA) issued by the State of California
At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED)
Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing)
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the CEO/CNE or designee, the CNA will provide services within the CNA scope, following the facilities' policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting patients with daily living and providing nursing care.
Performing and documenting rounds of patients receiving medical or psychiatric care.
Reporting changes in patients' conditions to the Registered Nurse (RN).
Obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
Assisting other non-custody staff in providing patient care.
Preparing documentation for patient transfers to other facilities or special appointments.
Completing required documentation of patient care.
Cleaning, maintaining, and checking equipment.
Managing inventory, ordering, and checking supplies.
