Cedarcrest Animal Hospital has been serving the pets and people of Acworth, Georgia, and surrounding communities of Paulding County with veterinary excellence since 2008. Our stunning facility has over 15,000 sq/ft devoted to the care of our clients and patients and the comfort of our team, including; a spacious surgical suite, conference/break room with a full kitchen, open treatment area, separate isolation ward, private doctor's offices, large kennel, separate boarding for felines, and an indoor/outdoor doggie daycare space.

Cedarcrest Animal Hospital is located in Acworth, GA just 35 miles northwest of Atlanta, GA. Acworth, GA is a delightful and appealing place to live, learn, work and play. It is often referred to as the "Lake City'' as it is close to Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona. Housing is affordable and the schools are highly rated. Kennesaw State University is a rapidly growing source of higher education learning.

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team and help ensure we are providing those great experiences. When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.
Position Skills: Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoring
Proficient in dental prophylaxis
Position Requirements: Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
