Job Posting for Richeson Management Corporation Controller

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Weekly and Monthly financial reporting to the Executive Management Team

Manage all aspects of accounting, including, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, chart of accounts and general ledger

Oversee accounting staff including support, review and training as necessary

Lead month-end close and reconciliation process, ensuring deadlines are met

Building/modifying Excel Reports as needed

Gathering data from multiple sources, analyzing data and resolving discrepancies, and required reporting to state agencies and franchisor

Coordinate with external accountants regarding local, state and federal tax returns

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

High level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Strong communication and problem-solving Skills

Ability to learn and work quickly to meet deadlines

Able to work well with senior executives, as well as mentor other team members

Preferred Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting

Previous work with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Inventory and/or Payroll

Previous work in accounting software packages (NetSuite a strong plus)

Previous work with multi-unit restaurant or franchise accounting experience a strong plus
