You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sales growth and market penetration.
Our ideal candidate will possess a sales and marketing background within the Food & Beverage industry or a related field, and will be responsible for identifying new leads, developing relationships internally, and developing marketing objectives to achieve revenue targets. Objectives of this role
This is a key strategic position reporting directly to the Director of Retail, Chief Branding Officer, and CEO. Our objective is to further align our retail and marketing goals with sales growth goals. Increase revenue and awareness of Retail stores.
Candidate should have demonstrated experience in sales and brand growth, and should be very detailed and methodical in their approach.
Candidate should also be able to prepare press releases and other press materials, interface with national and local media, and be able to prepare presentations for the leadership team. Candidate should also have a strong eye for good design and effective advertising and marketing collateral, and be able to lead a graphics team and freelancers to prepare top quality materials.
Candidate should be well versed in all social media platforms. Candidate should also be able to adapt with a growing team, and be able to interface with all levels of staff to better understand and share our company vision, story, and brands.
Should be able to design sales growth campaigns and create the targeted marketing strategies to support those campaigns with measurable metrics. Experience with Square Loyalty is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
Develop and manage creative content and updates for customer and internal touch points
Establish Retail Marketing guidelines, document business processes, and provide sales support
Lead marketing and retail sales events and opportunities
Oversee a small team (1 person)
Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
Create quarterly and annual marketing planning events/calendars
Work with our Loyalty app team ANSA to create promos and drive engagement
Help with store merchandising and create a look and feel that is Red Bay and yields revenue opportunities
Along with leadership, build and manage relationships with the media, creating PR materials to promote Retail Coffee Shop events
Required skills and qualifications
3-5 years of experience Developing Marketing and Sales plans
Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Strong knowledge of working with Social Media systems like (Facebook,Instagram, TikTok, SnapChat, X, Pinterest, etc.)
Ability to work with project management software like Asana
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
Proven success in designing interactive applications and networking platforms
Willingness to travel
Established contacts in the media
Must be a Bay Area resident
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
