Responsibilities
+ Proper usage of equipment to complete banding, wrapping, stacking and proper storage of all regrind and of finished goods.
+ Segregates and identifies different materials into the appropriate plastic category.
+ Ensures proper use of grinder to prevent jams or other malfunctions.
+ Maintains general cleanliness and maintenance of grinder machinery; operates and cleans Torit dust collectors.
+ Properly covers, shrink-wraps and labels filled gaylords after shredding grinding.
+ Ensures that product is in a shippable configuration and palletized correctly according to the PSF/TiHi and moving finished goods to warehouse.
+ Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records product information, shortages, and deficiencies or problems to supervisor or purchasing department.
+ Ensures work area is maintained in order and is free of unused items, carts, machinery not in use to mitigate safety hazards and maintain good housekeeping practices.
+ Minimizes product damage caused by warehouse activity through safe work practices.
+ Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.
+ Additional duties as assigned.
