MJ seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join our widely respected and diverse Transportation Division in our Florida office locations.
Successful candidates will be a technically well-versed, motivated, licensed P.E. with experience working with State DOT and Municipal Projects.
Primary responsibilities include working with a team of multidisciplinary engineers, leading the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure projects including; roadway alignment design and 3D modeling, grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specifications, and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal projects throughout the East Coast.
Some fieldwork travel may be required.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
Licensed P.E. required.
5-10 years of transportation infrastructure design experience.
Strong working knowledge of MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
Business Development Experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Superior organizational and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team, develop and maintain client relations, meet project demands and schedules.
