Responsibilities:
Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company's brand identity.
Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Meltwater, SEMRush, RiseKarma, etc to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance.
Fully developing a social media strategy, system, calendar, themes, campaigns, etc.
Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
Excellent social listening skills
Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or comparable experience with another degree
4 or more years of social media experience, including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
Advanced CRM system skills - Hubspot preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Proven relationships across North American social media and influencers
Translate complex technical and business issues into simplified messaging for press and external audiences
Deep knowledge of external issues and reputation management communications, response strategies and business continuity processes.
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
Expert-level social media skills
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems
Voracious reader with a keen awareness of latest consumer/pop culture trends, along with industry and competitor day-to-day monitoring
Creative thinker and willingness to communicate ideas
Strong judgment and decision-making skills
Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organizational and project management skills
Some travel is required for event production if needed.
