Position Title: Network Solutions Lead
Location: 100% Remote
Duration : 6+ month contract
Job Description: Design and implement solutions to optimize operations
Content / load balancing, Network Security, Firewalls, VPN network management
Network security (firewalls, DMZ architectures, cloud services)
Contributes to the creation of new policies and procedures for Maintenance Plan and Continuity of Operations Plan
Plan and implement network security, including setting up firewalls, managing host security, applying cryptography to network applications, and regulating file permissions
Develop a common understanding of service level expectations with the business areas and regularly review the business areas' measures and impressions of service level delivery
Ensure appropriate resources are in place to meet delivery expectations
Assess vendor development/test strategies
Provide Tier 2/3 support for a complex global enterprise network
Develop best practices for capacity planning, trending, monitoring, high availability and disaster recovery
Certifications/Licensing
CCIE required
CCNA or CCNP required

Support the Technical Service Delivery Managers in customer projects, such as complex implementation, migration activity and SLA transition feasibility studies
Assist Technical SDM/Support in scheduling customer maintenances and ensure appropriate quality checks have been completed
Attend and participate in customer meetings as required
Identify opportunities for growth and share with Technical Service Delivery Manager
Provide ITIL direction and guidance for incidents, changes and problems
Establish and enforce best practices for network management, including configurations, monitoring, patch management and security

Cisco ACI Experience
