The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. The primary responsibility will be to communicate business requirements effectively to ensure data-driven solutions aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. The talented individual contributor will work closely with strategic planning leaders, analytics and finance teams on projects aimed to advance the prioritization of strategic priorities, prove the measured value of potential and current initiatives. Key job responsibilities

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, to understand and document their requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes.

o Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.

o Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications that can be understood by engineers, analysts, and data scientists.

Data Analysis and Insights:

o Facilitate communication and knowledge transfer between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring understanding of the solution's capabilities and limitations.

Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

o Participate and lead project planning to ensure successful delivery of data-driven initiatives.

o Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, and risks effectively.

o Foster relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to promote collaboration and alignment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.

• 3+ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data-driven environment, with a solid understanding of data analysis techniques and methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business problems into manageable components.

• 2+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools and concepts.

• 2+ years Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum)

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market.
