Overview
The Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel is looking to hire a On-Call Bellperson Attendant / Shuttle Van Driver . This is a On Call Part-Time position working mainly evenings and weekends.
This position requires the flexabilty to work both AM shifts starting at 7 AM, and PM shifts which start at 3 PM, weekdays, weekends, and holidays when needed.

You are the face of the hotel and as the first person our guest meet it is your responsibility to always provide a welcoming and friendly smile along with your professionalism and eagerness to provide assistance and services to our guest.
Duties of Bellperson....
The ability to move luggage carts weighing up to 200lbs, the ability to lift and carry boxes/luggage up to 75lbs required
Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times
Is familiar with the layout of the hotel and memorize the preferred route for escorting guests
Rooms the guest in accordance with hotel standards
Provides information to guests about the hotel facilities and services
Assist guests checking in or out with their baggage, answering questions, making deliveries
Recognizes customers immediately with a warm and hospitable welcome
Responds to inquiries with accurate information regarding location specific features and services
Coordinates with Guest Services staff regarding daily VIP arrivals and special guests
Duties of a Driver Attendant... Connects with guests with a dynamic and engaging personality
Responds to guests' needs with urgency and follow-through
Impresses guests with prompt and professional service
Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
Have advanced knowledge of the immediate physical location and surrounding areas of interest and activities
Maintain the cleanliness of the drive and parking areas
Qualifications
Requirements : Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license with at least 3 years' driving experience
Must pass a mandatory drug test
Must pass a criminal background check
No MAJOR violations (DUI, reckless driving, negligent homicide) in the past 7 years
No more than two MINOR violations in the past year (accident, speeding)
No license suspension or revocation in the last 3 years
Flexible availability (evening and weekend shifts)
Frequent running, standing, stooping, lifting, and climbing stairs.
Continually standing for long periods of time, up to an entire shift
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Exposed to winter and summer temperature extremes.
Must speak and write fluent English.
