Title : Security Coordinator
Pay Rate : $30-$40/hr W2
Contract duration :6 months
Location : 100% onsite at San Jose, CA 95134
Description of role:
Overall support of Security reporting, administration, invoice management, and coordination for the operations of the Workplace Solutions Group (WSG).
Coordinate and facilitate security protocols and procedures.
Liaise with current/new security vendors for scheduled maintenance.
Assist management in developing and maintaining physical security and badging policies for associated security programs.
Complete detailed security reports as requested/required.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on crisis response and management, emergency coordination, and business intelligence.
Answer security-related inquiries and intake reports of security/safety issues.
Act as a liaison between Physical Security, Information Technology, and HQ .
Support risk assessments and security audits.
Support managing restricted area data and maintaining access control lists.
Conduct access audits to monitor and control user access to sensitive information.
Collaborate with other security personnel to resolve security-related issues.
Periodic review and assessment of an organization's governance , risk, and compliance processes to ensure that they are operating effectively and efficiently.
Support identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks that could impact an organization, and implementing measures to minimize their impact.
Provide direct security management operation support such as vendor management, tracker administration, contract execution, vendor registration, reconciliations, policies, invoices, and budget review.
Provide operations support in tracking security vendor management list related to annual capital & operating expense spending including annual budgeting.
Provide analysis support in reviewing business operations and invoice data with a solid understanding of security management .
Create and maintain key templates including reports for ad-hoc assignments for team support.
Provide support in business operations and project review.
Participate in the development of programs, systems, and projects to increase the efficiency of processes and operations.
Provide internal process support in submissions related to the security team.
Manage projects and programs as assigned.
Communicate and work across teams for collaboration with internal and external groups.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
At least two years of relevant experience or at least five years of professional experience
Advanced Excel skills and report building
Familiarity with security operations, facilities, coordination, administrative, and office services functions , with direct experience in a workplace department preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Security Certifications , such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Proficient with computer software programs including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Work well under pressure and within time constraints in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task with attention to details
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Capable of working with ambiguity and change
