Chemical Process Industries (CPI) Adjunct

Position Accountabilities and Essential Functions:

The adjunct role is responsible for the lecture and lab components of CPI courses. In the lab, the adjunct is responsible for overall student supervision and safety as students complete the exercises for the course which are documented within the lesson plans for each CPI course session. The adjunct may also be responsible for teaching the CPI 125 Hand Tools course of the CPI program. The will include a pre-setup for each time the course section meets. CPI adjunct faculty work together to share lecture and lab assignments throughout the CPI courses. The adjunct will communicate with the CPI Coordinator concerning lab supplies and any necessary repairs required for the lab. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology and 5+ years' experience with chemical manufacturing preferred
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 10+ years' experience with progressive responsibilities in chemical manufacturing.
Ability to teach Monday-Thursday (8:00am – 12:00pm), could also include Friday hours
