Field Service Technician - Denver

Role/Purpose:
The Mettler Toledo Product Inspection Field Service Engineers (FSE) are required to provide World Class support to our customers through start-ups, audits, maintenance, repair, and training of Safeline x-ray, metal detectors, or Hi-Speed Checkweighers. PI FSE's are responsible for managing all aspects of field service support including the following:
Communications between customers and the service department
Effective scheduling
Detailed preparation of written reports and documentation
Maintenance of job assignments
Always keeping in mind to follow MT PI procedures and best practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Satisfy all Safety Requirements for both MT-PI and Customer Sites
Attend daily tier calls led by a Regional Service Manager
Efficiently execute scheduled service calls as directed from Dispatch or Management while taking into account cost, time, and customer needs/expectations
Develop and maintain good customer relationships; Become the customer's trusted advisor
Identify root cause of service issues (first time fix)
Accurately complete and submit all service reports and documentation per service activity, timesheets, and expense reports in a timely manner
Keep up with ongoing technical training
Weekend/afterhours work as required based on workload and rotation
Overnight travel as required – Travel 100%
Maintain company supplied equipment, tools, and inventory
