Overview:
We are currently seeking a Tax Associate in our Private Client Group in our Boston or Woburn office. To qualify for this position, you should:
Essential Duties:
Become familiar with the firm's policies and procedures
Understand the rules, regulations and code of conduct of the AICPA
Be adept at utilizing various tax software as well as Adobe and Excel
Demonstrate the ability to research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
Demonstrate the ability to interact with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form
Demonstrate self-motivation and take responsibility for personal growth and development
Work toward obtaining your CPA certification
Be permanently authorized to work in the U.S.
Qualifications:
Be working toward and/or have a college degree in accounting
Have previous tax experience or interest in working in the areas of individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation tax
Have strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Have the ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Practice strong time management and organizational skills
Be detail oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently
Be energetic with a positive attitude
