Supported by (and reporting to) Chanel Jones, Cynthia Barrios, and Kristi Thompson, you'll be joining a friendly team of 30 specialists who believe in delivering great customer service at scale.

What you'll do

As our Claim Specialist II (CS2) you will be responsible for handling and resolving commercial auto claims across the United States. Initially, the claims that are assigned to you will involve coverage investigations, liability negotiations, vehicle repairs, and total losses, where you are responsible for identifying exposures, setting reserves, issuing payments, assigning vendors, sending referrals, and interpreting policy contracts. Upon completion of certification, you will be trained to handle soft-tissue third-party injury claims, which positions you well for promotional and mentorship opportunities.

We don’t have a checklist of skills - our hiring process is much more about aptitude and passion than ticking boxes. So don’t worry if you’ve not used a particular tool or checked off all the listed skills and experience.

That said, below is a guideline of skills that we think would make you successful in this role.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Have completed a bachelors degree

Possess at least six (6) months’ successful experience handling coverage and liability investigations in the personal auto or commercial auto space at a recognized insurance carrier

Have already secured an insurance license in Texas, or can secure a license within 45 days.

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Understand that customer satisfaction and retention is driven by handling claims well.

Are passionate about building a successful career in Claims.

Helped resolve customer concerns in your most recent role.

Understand the value of contributing to a team’s shared success.

Able to commute to/from our office in Irving, Texas, on a daily basis (Monday through Thursday).
