ERM Management Consultant
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking an ERM Management Consultant for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities:
Support improvements to and execution of the bank’s risk management framework and risk appetite statement.
Perform risk management related activities including risk identification, enterprise risk assessment and aggregation methods.
Lead the board reporting process and prepare board reports.
Assist in the development of key risk metrics across the bank.
Prepare program documentation including policies and procedures for managing ongoing program monitoring.
Establish other risk programs as needed.
Support the development and delivery of risk communication and training materials across the three lines of defense.
Coordinate with first line business partners on the risk program enhancements and execution.
Take part in industry forums and build relationships with other large banks.
Qualifications:
Experience building or enhancing ERM and operational risk programs.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects successfully.
Proven track record of effective execution on key initiatives.
Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units.
Demonstrated ability to influence change.
Experience interpreting regulatory guidance.
Ability to transform guidance into executable actions.
