Bay Area Clinical Associates (BACA) is dedicated to providing the highest quality, evidence-based, compassionate mental health services to kids, teens, young adults, and their families. Our mission is to provide intensive mental health to youth and their families. Our Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Transitional Outpatient Programs (IOP/PHP/TOP) are designed for patients experiencing moderate to severe mental health symptoms who require more intensive care than standard outpatient services.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, psychologists, LMFTs/LCSWs, associates and trainees to address mental health needs in children, adolescents, and young adults 29 and younger as well as their families
Provide care to patients in the outpatient clinic and intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
Provide psychiatric evaluation and management visits along with individual and family therapy, especially when those therapies are indicated to be best provided by a psychiatrist..
Provide psychiatric oversight of the clinical team and perform evaluation and management visits along with psychotherapy in the IOPs and PHPs. LCSWs/LMFTs generally provide the individual, group, and family therapy in the IOPs and PHPs.
Position Requirements:
Active medical license in the State of California as an MD or DO and valid NPI and DEA certificate
Board certified/board eligible in psychiatry and/or child and adolescent psychiatry
Must complete credentialing/contracting with insurance companies prior to starting
Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical record documentation in a timely manner
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation is guaranteed at $270,000 at 1.0 FTE for the first 6 months and based on productivity thereafter
FLSA Status is exempt

Weekly supervision/consultation for the first three months of employment; as arranged thereafter

Annual Educational funds; eligible to use after 6 months
Maternity leave policy commensurate with time worked at BACA
