Responsible for developing and maintaining global communications strategies to meet division objectives, this role is an integral part of the Communications team at Stryker's Endoscopy Division. This role will be primarily focused on leading communications strategies, plans and activities across the Endoscopy Division in partnership with our global communications teams across the business and Corporate.
This role is a hybrid position. This position is required to be based out of the Dallas, San Jose, Denver, or Phoenix locations.

What you will do:
Support the vision and objectives of the division and senior leadership team
Collaborate with senior leaders to define business strategy and priorities to translate into communications strategy
Influence and help develop leadership messaging
Support senior leaders / global functions through company transformation and change initiatives by defining communications strategy and helping to manage communications details, sequencing and communication materials
Leads the creation of key executive leadership communications for internal and external purposes, including setting the strategic direction of the communication, through creation, implementation and tracking of key performance indicators
Lead various communications and projects, which may include content creation and review for internal and external audiences (company-wide messaging, acquisition communication plans and materials, town hall events, media holding statements and major organizational announcements).
Manage and maintain editorial calendar for internal communication activities to keep track of project status, establish priorities, and tracking deliverables.
Advise in communications consultation, planning and best practice sharing including:
Communications strategy and planning
Translate content across various medium and audiences
Development support for high level messaging and detailed talking points
Aligns key stakeholders to meet business objectives
Closely work with peers globally across the division and Corporate Communications
Maintain strong leadership relationships and regular touch points to stay connected and aligned to global function needs
Partner and collaborate closely with strategic communications function to identify opportunities for leverage
Ensure communications are in alignment with the company's strategies, goals, objectives and brand.
Ensure review and approvals are in accordance with review/approval processes and procedures in place
Maintain a high degree of self-motivation and generate fresh ideas. Keep current with communication trends, tactics and strategies to inform future recommendations
Inspire trust and build followership
Lead a team of professionals, develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree required
10+ years of work experience required
Degree in communications, public relations or related field preferred
7+ years communications experience preferred
4+ years of people management experience preferred
$112,800 - $239,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 30%
