**Position Overview**

As a Human Resources Representative, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational HR support to a warehouse, business unit, or function. You will work hands-on and in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partner to deliver results for the business.

This will include supporting the execution of performance management strategy, cultivating a positive new employee experience, and helping drive employee engagement initiatives. This role will work hand-in-hand with Talent Acquisition partners to ensure that the Company remains an employer of choice for potential candidates.

**Job Description**

+ This role is fully on-site, Monday - Friday

+ Based in Windsor Locks, CT

+ Pay Rate: $26.00/hr

**You Will Contribute by**

+ Preparing for and facilitating new hire orientation.

+ Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations regarding work eligibility (I-9 compliance, labor postings, etc.).

+ Assisting with HR programs that support the business objectives and key performance priorities of the business unit.

+ Supporting key HR initiatives, including talent management, training, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and salary reviews.

+ Coordinating HR and Company initiatives that enhance engagement, performance, and retention (e.g., company surveys, community events, recognition).

+ Assisted HR business partners with employee relations investigations.

+ Ensuring sensitive information remains confidential at all times.

+ Travel Required: No

**We're Looking for Candidates With**

+ 1-2 years of Human Resources experience preferred.

+ Working knowledge of Human Resources related laws and regulations.

+ Prior experience working in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing is preferred.

+ The ability to work with a high volume of employees

+ Strong internal and external customer service focus.

+ Effective communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

+ The ability to work independently when required, as well as drive to succeed and a self-starter mindset.

+ Ability to work collaboratively.

+ Ability to identify and handle priority and sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality.
