Responsibilities:
1 st Shift:
Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues promptly, including adjusting processing parameters or modifying formulations as needed.
Conduct labeling reviews to ensure accurate and compliant product labeling, including ingredient lists, nutrition facts, and allergen declarations.
Perform regular audits of production facilities to verify adherence to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and food safety regulations.
2 nd Shift :
Utilize extensive QA experience to identify and diagnose problems that may arise on the quality line, including defects in products, packaging, or labeling.
Employ problem-solving skills to address quality issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime and production losses.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues, utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying causes.
Requirements:
Degree in Food Science or at least 5 years in Food/Beverage Industry
Knowledgeable in Food Safety
Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Ability to work well in a cross-functional team
Self-starter--ability to accomplish goals with minimal direction
Reliable, self-motivated, team player
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Friendly and helpful attitude
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, or comparable.
