We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic individuals to join our team. The lighting technicians responsibilities include learning and developing practical skills, participating in classes and workshops on and offsite, observing all health and safety codes. You should be well-organized, flexible, and willing to assist wherever possible.
To be successful as a technician, you must have great time management skills and be willing to fit into the existing staff structure. Outstanding technicians are those who respond well to criticism, build good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression. No experience is required as we offer thorough on the job training for this position.
Your Responsibilities:
Arrive on time to work daily
Install lighting systems under leadership of the project manager
Participate in night time adjustments and walkthroughs on projects completed
Assist lighting designer with night time demos
Maintain shop and truck organization and cleanliness
Hang out door hangers in the neighborhood of installation
Day to day task include Hand trenching
Install burial cable
Assemble and install lighting fixtures
Make electrical connections
Install low voltage transformers
Text voltage and amperage of lighting systems
Apprentice Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Driver's license recommended.
Good physical strength and hand-eye coordination may be required.
Good time management, critical, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
A growth mindset and passion for learning.
Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools
Essential Physical Requirements
Must be able and willing to work indoors/outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50-100 pounds
Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day
