Job Title: IT Support and Operations Engineer

Compensation: $45-55/hr

Job Description: abiotech company in South San Francisco is seeking an IT Support & Ops Engineer to join their growing IT team. The company recently went public and is scaling operations. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day IT operations across Mac/Windows, administer tools like Addigy, InTune, O365, Okta, Slack, Zoom, and oversee helpdesk tickets in Jira. You’ll partner with a small internal team and reduce reliance on junior MSP resources, while also supporting both corporate and lab environments. This is a fully onsite role with an initial 4–6 month contract at a competitive rate. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of IT experience supporting both Mac and Windows, ITIL knowledge, with biotech/pharma industry experience and lab exposure considered a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years supporting both Mac and Windows

Experience in small-to-medium sized company environments

Proven experience supporting similar tech stack: Okta, Zoom, O365, Zoom, InTune, Addigy etc.

Preferred Tech/Experience

Biotech/pharma industry experience
