We are seeking a dynamic and experienced System Administrator to join our team. This is a permanent position in our Engineering department, where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our complex IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in Linux and Windows servers, Python, and AWS. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch engineering solutions.

Responsibilities: Implement, manage, and maintain Linux and Windows servers to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for various systems and software.

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

Regularly conduct performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities as needed.

Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation.

Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Manage AWS environment to ensure optimal functionality, including setup, deployment, and maintenance.

Develop scripts in Python to automate routine system administration tasks.

Work closely with the team to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.

Proven experience with Linux and Windows server environments.

Strong scripting skills in Python.

Solid understanding of AWS, including setup, deployment, and maintenance.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Proven experience in managing large scale IT infrastructure.

Certification in Linux/Windows Server or AWS is a plus.

Ability to work in a team and independently when required.

Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
