Director of Finance
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations through our next stage of growth, culminating in an IPO. This is a critical role for our company, and the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in high-growth environments, deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, and a comprehensive understanding of the IPO process.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
Manage relationships with external auditors, investment bankers, and other financial advisors.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Financial reports
Lead the IPO preparation process, including working with internal and external teams to develop the offering documents and navigate the regulatory environment.
Partner with the CEO and other senior executives to make strategic decisions about the company's financial future.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, CPA or CFA preferred.
10+ years of experience in a senior finance role, with at least 5 years of experience in a high-growth company.
Proven experience leading and managing an IPO process.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
